Israel and Zionism are among our core values.  We teach about our link to the Land of Israel, the Jewish People throughout the world, and Zionist and Israeli history in our Nursery School, Religious School, and adult education programs.  We learn about Israel’s current situation through speakers and programs, along with discussions with Rabbi Blumenthal on Shabbat.

So far, the congregation has sponsored two very successful missions to Israel, where we have travelled throughout the country, met a variety of Israelis, visited Washington’s Partnership 2000 projects and learned about Israel’s history.  Contact the rabbi if you would like to participate in a future mission.
